Mealworms
Mealworms are a nutritious and sustainable protein source. These insects can be bred efficiently with minimal resources, making them an eco-friendly alternative to traditional livestock.
Superworms
Superworms are larger relatives of mealworms, preferred by turtles and parrots. They are high in protein and moisture, making them a nutritious snack.
Lesser Mealworms
Lesser Mealworms are dermestid beetles used by taxidermists. At about 5mm, they are ideal for baby geckos and small frogs. Rich in protein and calcium, they are a nutritious staple for insectivores.
Flightless Fruit Flies
Flightless Fruit Flies are excellent live feed for reptiles and fish fry. They're easy to handle, locally cultured in Singapore, and nutritious. Key subspecies include Drosophila melanogaster and hydei.
